I am a scholar, writer, and educator. I teach in the John Martinson Honors College at Purdue University, where I am a visiting clinical assistant professor. I also serve as the director of the Research Accelerator learning community.

My scholarly research focuses on Restoration and eighteenth-century British literature and culture and has been published or is forthcoming in Journal for Early Modern Cultural StudiesSEL Studies in English Literature 1500-1900, and Eighteenth-Century Fiction, among others. I am working on a monograph that explores devils and devilish curiosity in eighteenth-century British literature.

I am also an author of short fiction. My stories appear or are forthcoming in LightspeedWeird Horror, Post Road, and elsewhere.
