As an educator, I teach courses that emphasize interdisciplinarity, critical thinking, and collaboration. In the John Martinson Honors College at Purdue, I teach courses on research principles and methodologies, leadership development, critical place studies, and interdisciplinary writing. I have also taught courses in the English department on both composition and literature, including Introduction to Fiction and Introduction to World Literature. I am happy to provide syllabi on request.
In addition to classroom teaching, I am interested in community engagement projects. I have developed several courses and other programming for community reading initiatives, including courses for senior citizens.
